“When we went out with clipboards to spot plants.”

What does it mean to work like a scientist?

“ to discover things and test things”

“Dropping the tea cake in the skeleton structure we built.”

What is something you learnt this year you didn’t know before?

“That magnets float and always point in the same direction.”  Which direction? “North”

“I learnt how fossils are made.”

“The activities you do really help it (the science) stick in your mind”

What is something you learnt this year you didn’t know before?

“Parts of flowers, the inside bits, I knew nothing about flowers. Oh and the frog lifecycle.”

What does it mean to work like a scientist?

“Using scientific words”

“Inspecting things really well.”

“Reversing salt from water, the lifecycles of different animals and air resistance in forces.”
